What do I need to be evaluated by a physical therapist?
Your referring physician will receive a copy of your evaluation and we will keep in contact with him/her during the course of treatment. If you have a follow-up visit with your doctor during therapy, we will provide him/her with a comprehensive Progress Note detailing your improvement.
What should I bring to my appointment?
Please bring your prescription for physical therapy and your insurance cards.
What should I wear to my appointment?
Please wear comfortable clothing that will allow the physical therapist to fully evaluate the specific body region for which you will be treated.
How long will my appointment last?
The first appointment will be an evaluation that will take approximately 45 to 75 minutes. Subsequent appointments, which you will schedule after the evaluation, will last 45 to 60 minutes. The treatment times outlined are based on averages. Your total treatment time may vary depending upon your individual circumstance and the plan of care designed in collaboration between your physician and our physical therapists.
How will my doctor know how I’m doing?
Your referring physician will receive a copy of your evaluation and we will keep in contact with him/her during the course of treatment. If you have a follow-up visit with your doctor during therapy, we will provide him/her with a comprehensive Progress Note detailing your improvement.
