Occupational Therapy
We
help you to achieve independence in all of lifes daily
activities. Our services include adaptive equipment,
therapeutic activities, modalities, wound care, and energy
conservation techniques.
Hand Rehabilitation
We
help you regain function of your upper extremity by use of
custom splinting, serial casting, modalities, scar
mobilization/desensitization, manual therapy, and
therapeutic activities.
Sports Medicine & Athletic
Injuries
We
specialize in the rehabilitation of high school, collegiate,
professional, and recreational athletes through
individualized sport-specific programs.
Neurological Conditions:
Stroke, Parkinsons, Multiple Sclerosis
We
emphasize a full return to function by focusing on gait
training, strengthening exercises, balance activities, and
endurance.
Total Joint Replacement Program
We
offer pre-operative education and exercise programs designed
to prepare you for joint replacement surgery. After
surgery, we provide you with comprehensive outpatient
therapy focusing on improving range of motion, strength, and
balance with the goal of returning you to all of your
previous functional activities.
Spine Rehabilitation
We
use pain-relieving modalities (moist heat, ultrasound,
electrical stimulation), manual therapy (massage, myofascial
release, joint mobilizations), and individualized
therapeutic exercises to alleviate neck, low back, and
arm/leg symptoms. We place a strong emphasis on patient
education to prevent re-occurrence.
Functional Capacity Evaluation
We
perform a comprehensive objective computerized test of a
persons work capabilities from a physical, medical,
behavioral, and ergonomic perspective.
Anodyne ® Therapy
Anodyne emits infrared photo energy to
increase circulation and temporarily reduce pain in the area it is applied. This treatment
has been shown to be effective with Peripheral Neuropathy.
